Boy! I bet I could get an argument here. I’m glad Ernst said it rather than me, but I have to say that I agree. I’ve said again and again, that’s it’s the artist’s vision and his/her skill in conveying it, that are of the utmost importance.

This image is actually a HDR composed of three distinct shots. Since there is an actual person in the image, and he was looking in a different direction in each image, I had to choose one view to include in the final image. This was captured in Castine, Maine, where the maritime academy is located.
