The world if full of abstract images, both in the natural world and in the man-built world. You only have to keep your eyes open for them. In truth all art, even so called realistic art, is abstract, as soon as two dimensions appears to have three.
This image is of some rust on a bridge in Portland, Oregon, land of bridges. It has been “enhanced” to bring out the abstract details, but there are still many traces of its origin.
